A Taste of Youth

Mateo's fears of getting older manifest as his 46 birthday looms, and all the hours in the gym and miracle elixirs can't stop the ticking clock. Except for one. A Taste of Youth is the world's first queer, fat-positive horror feature film, from the twisted mind of Joshua R. Pangborn and SideKick Productions.

Matthew Conkling plays Grayson, a supporting character looking for partners, who ends up a victim to the mysterious character making youth potions using the eyes of young gay men on dating apps.

A Taste of Youth made its world premiere in October 2024 at the Stuart Cinema and Cafe in Brooklyn, NY. As a part of the Ocktober Film Festival, A Taste of Youth won The Audience Choice Award after a long week of independent films.
